Take a chance and don't ever look back..

So soon has this time come around but my parents have given me the responsibility of being able to have a tattoo. Obviously the responsibility in this is that I have to make the decision of what to have (not that I have to have one I just want one) but I need to think a lot about what I want because after all it is a permanent mark of art on your body. Now I'm really into nautical anchors and traditional tattoos like hearts and swallow birds. They do admittedly sometimes appear tacky so I need to be very careful when designing my tattoo not to let this happen. I want a thigh piece on my right upper outer thigh, or maybe on my ribs I am yet to decide. Something bright so the colours will pop against my pale skin. I have no time for tattoos like stars on my wrist and butterfly's on my neck or whatever, I personally think they are a waste of ink if you're going to have a tattoo in my opinion you should have something that:

1. Suits your personal style personality and image, not something because its a fashion trend and everyone is getting it done
2. Something you're not going to regret
3. Nothing on the face, face tattoos = total nonsense

(I may seem up myself with my opinions but after all they are only my opinions)

Because Google is the saviour to blocked thoughts, I Googled nautical tattoos and found some that I really like...

And she simply floated, with not a care in the world...

So my new hair.. in a literal sense has been inspired by my sheer boredom. Go brown and be average or keep the whiteness and get experimental. So here we are, a set of my prom extensions, bleached, dip dyed and coated with silver fox shampoo (the purple stuff old ladies apply after perms and to prevent yellowing and such and such).
Their glued in with 'Bond-a-Weave' hair glue aka Liquid Gold, smells disgusting but holds the hair in like super glue, and that's exactly the effect I'm searching for!

I'll keep you updated with changes and  modifications, I sometimes perceive my hair as art so in conclusion is it not something appropriate to blogg about? I mean surely if I can blogg about sausages, boobs and pasta surely hair is acceptable.

So if I can keep this hair in for lets say a week or two, I think I'll go for a short white pixie crop.. something along the lines of an eighties style with the option of a scruffy look or a clean cut sleek look, a little something like this....

Sorry for boring you with my vein personality, but after all it is my blogg.

Its more than i can sta-a-and...

So I'm watching celebrity juice on itv2 and Gok Wan is one of the judges. Now I really do love Gok, I think he's fab but it is a bit irritating when he refers boobies, nunga nungas, breasts as 'bangers'.

Now why does this bother me you ask? Well I am a sausage and mash lover, referred sometimes as bangers and mash. I had a thought the other day as weirdly odd this is... boobies and mash. In all honesty it made me feel a little sick. So I would appreciate it Gok if you refrained from calling boobies bangers!

p.s I have nothing against boobies but I have no intention of eating them with mashed potato.

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that's amore!

So the gym was actually a raging success, my friend Beth and I are doing this healthy thing together so working out was so fun. We did an actual hour of exercise, I am so proud of us! I genuinely sweat too that has got to be a good sign right?

So any way I got home and was ravenous! And there is no parents to cook me food so I decided to make vegetarian pasta.. and here's how to do it!

Chop up three button mushrooms, a stick of celery and half a courgette,

put vegetables into a hot pan, with no oil.. remember this is a healthy recipe!

Put as much pasta as you'd like into a pan add water and a shake of salt.. we all know how you make pasta!

once the pasta is fully cooked to you're licking and the vegetables are cooked right for you (I like my vegetables relatively crunchy so I let them cook for about 5 minutes) add in you're chosen sauce to the pasta, I like knorrs chicken tonight because its really tomatoey and has a kick that ordinary tomato sauce doesn't have.

Once the sauce and pasta is bubbling, add in your vegetables and season...

Stir in well, once this concoction is bubbling you are ready to plate up!

Get a nice big bowl and serve, enjoy with or without cheese.. VIOLA vegetarian pasta a la Alice!

ENJOY!

So you guys I've decided I am going to get healthy! now I'm not talking on a diet to get super model thin or freakishly toned with a set of arms like pop-eye and abs coming out of me like corn on the cobs, I want to just be a little less wobbly and be able to perform in the show in march and not be out of breath. (It also wouldn't be to bad to look smokin' for my caravan holiday with the girls in July! haha)

Its already day two on my healthy mission and I'm doing well, yesterday I even had salad. I had soup of lunch and I'm on my sixth piece of fruit today... I'm Pretty sure my skin is thanking me after last week, where I managed to eat every type of fast food going! I am breaking out so bad!

ANYWAY, I'm off to the gym tonight to start on the de-wobbling of my body! I cant wait to start seeing some results but I'll keep my blog informed of any weight gains (I hope not!) and losses, and if I come across a low fat recipe for cookies I'll defiantly share my secrets with you guys!

(excuse the bad quality photo i am in a rush!)

Baby i just wanna dance, I don't really care..

My very first nail post! I chose something simple to begin, its a sunset or rise with bird detail.

Its so easy to do and can be done on any length of nail.

You will need an orange yellow pink and purple nail varnish.

Paint the bottom of your nail orange (horizontally) and the top purple leaving the middle empty.

Wait until the paint is tacky then where the orange ends, paint the pink covering the purple. Make sure the pink is thin enough so you can still see traces of the purple under it. This will be the clouds.

Wait until dry.

Paint a rising sun shape at the bottom of your nail.

Wait until dry.

If you wish you can then add ray lines coming from the sun (if you have the patients its a challenging job!)

Using a nail varnish pen or black nail varnish and a cocktail stick draw on a small black bird anywhere on the nail..

Then you're finished!

I love this nail design because they were so easy to do and these tropical colours add brightness to any boring crappy day!

I'm fly oh my its a little bit scary..

This look is called 'Palma Violetta'

The whole point of this look is to widen eyes, I chose a colour pallet to compliment blue eyes.

the dark purple colouring on the bottom lash line is a soft replacement from using harsh black eye liner.

.

As well as widening the eyes the purple colours in my pallet compliment the shade of blue,
I used a variation of dark purples pearly purples and damson purples to create my look.

This look is so simple to achieve.....

1. Cover your eyelid in an iridescent or pearly colour, in the shade of your choice (i chose purple).
2. Shade in the lash line with a darker tone of your chosen colour, spreading the colour out evenly over your lid going right down into your tear duct.
3. Draw a thin like along your lash line to add definition.
4. Coat your upper and lower lashes with your favourite mascara.
5. Take an angled eye shadow brush and line the bottom of your eyes with the darkest shade of your chosen colour that you can find.
